Sentimental Owl and the Wise Crow
The owl and the crow met near a temple. “Where are you going?” the crow asked the owl.
“You know, I was living in the hollow of a tree in the village of Rampur. But I feel that the people of that village hated my screeching. So I am heading toward another village,” replied the owl.
The crow laughed. “Why are you laughing?” the owl inquired.
“My dear owl, if the people of Rampur hated your screeching, do you think the people of another village will love it? The best thing you can do is change your screeching into melodious music. Since you cannot do that, just as I cannot change my cawing into music, the best option is to stay where we are. At least the people of Rampur will get accustomed to it!” said the crow.
