A Witty Encounter

In a certain village lived two friends, Vir and Dhir, who considered themselves quite witty. However, what the villagers thought of them was a different matter entirely!

As they met on the road, Vir asked Dhir, “What are you carrying in that bag?”

Dhir replied, “If you can guess what is inside, I will give you all the eggs.” Vir thought for a moment but conceded that he was unable to make the guess.

“Well, I have eggs in it. But if you can correctly guess how many there are, I will give both the eggs to you,” proposed Dhir.

Vir pondered for a while again but finally confessed, “It is impossible to answer that question.”
