The Mystery of Vanishing Children

One day, King Surasena of Malay was strolling along the coastline that bordered his majestic realm. Known for his skill and might as a warrior, his fame had extended to all the surrounding territories.

The Encounter with the Giant

During his walk, he encountered a giant emerging from the sea. Taken aback, Surasena questioned his identity and intentions. The giant revealed that he was an emissary from the Island of the Lions, seeking the great warrior Surasena to assist his king with a dire problem. Embarrassed to admit his true identity, Surasena asked the giant to state his business, and he would ensure it reached the King.

The giant disclosed that his king was grappling with a troubling issue of his newborn children being kidnapped, despite the highest protection. Desperate and frightened as his queen was expecting their third child, the king had reached out for Surasena’s assistance. Assuring the giant he’d relay the message, they concluded their interaction.

The Eight Dwarfs

After the giant left, Surasena was approached by eight running dwarfs, each possessing a unique power, from super-human strength and enhanced sensory abilities, to mastery over creation itself. Hearing their capabilities, Surasena asked them to accompany him to the Island of the Lions to assist the king with his mystery. They all harmoniously agreed to join the King’s quest.

Voyage to the Island of the Lions

The following day, with the help of Tiny Brahma’s creation abilities, they sailed for the Island of the Lions. They were welcomed warmly and informed of the queen giving birth to their third child that night itself. Surasena assured the anxious king that he would protect the newborn, and if he failed he’d forfeit his life.

The Mysterious Kidnappings

The newborn was placed under heavy guard in a separate room, with Surasena himself on a close watch. Upon inquiring about the strange kidnappings, he discovered the culprit was the king’s sorceress sister, who used her powers to steal the children via the chimney. Implementing a strategic plan, he placed Hold Fast under the chimney to prevent the sorceress from entering.

The Encounter with the Sorceress

At midnight, the sorceress arrived via the chimney as expected, but was caught and lost her arm in the struggle with Hold Fast. However, she snatched the baby with another arm and disappeared. Surasena and his team, undeterred, rushed towards the Island of Magic to confront the sorceress.

The Final Confrontation

Upon reaching the sorceress’s castle, using their magic and quick thinking, Crawl Anywhere and Long Arm managed to rescue the children. The furious sorceress chased them, but was defeated by Good Aim’s arrow to her eye, which resulted in her drowning.

The Joyous Reunion and Resolution

Returning triumphantly in the early morning, Surasena reunited the king not only with his newborn but also with his older children who had gone missing. When the reality of the perpetrator was revealed, the king was filled with mixed emotions. Regardless, he was delighted that his children were safe and his mischievous sister was no more. As a token of gratitude, the King of the Island of Lions showered Surasena and his helpful dwarfs with generous rewards. Wrapping up their adventurous journey, Surasena and his new friends returned to Malay, where they enjoyed the rest of their days in peace.
