The Prisoner Who Escaped
Once upon a time, there was a nobleman who was imprisoned in a fortress that was considered inescapable. The jailor, known for his unmatched abilities, had a reputation for keeping his prisoners locked up without fail. Rumors spread that nobody had ever escaped from his custody, and the Sultan believed firmly in the strength of his prison.
However, the nobleman was determined to break free. He learned that the Sultan was actively trying to capture him, which only intensified his resolve. With cunning and care, he managed to escape from his cell, but the Sultan had not given up on finding him. He set his spies on high alert to track down the escaped prisoner.
When the Sultan received the devastating news, he became furious. “Has he really escaped?” he roared, demanding answers from his jailor. The jailor, visibly shaken, admitted, “Yes, my lord, he has.” The Sultan realized that he would have to hold someone accountable, and the poor jailor became the target of his wrath.
The Sultan questioned the jailor about the prisoner’s escape, his tone grave and threatening. “How could you let this happen?” he thundered. The jailor stood firm, aware of the dire consequences that awaited him, yet he remained resolute. “I am ready to accept responsibility,” he replied, understanding that his life hung by a thread.
As the Sultan stewed in his anger, the nobleman found a way to taunt his would-be captors. With divine intervention, he managed to escape the clutches of despair. Despite the Sultan’s fury, the locked doors and fortified walls of the prison could not withstand the nobleman’s determination to regain his freedom. The story serves as a reminder that hope and bravery often triumph over even the most insurmountable challenges.
